Description
In this class, students in small teams will learn how to build a confetti blower using found objects. To run the confetti blower, students will learn to wire up and connect electronic parts including buttons, servos and fans to the confetti blower via a Raspberry Pi. The final step will be to write Python code running on the Raspberry Pi that controls the confetti blower. The goal is to blow confetti all over their desks at the touch of a button!
Objectives
Work in teams to design and create a confetti blower using found objects
Learn to run a Raspberry Pi
Wire up electronic circuits using components and the Raspberry Pi
Program electronic components using Python
Code a program to control all the components
Run the confetti machine using the Raspberry Pi and connected components.
