Description

This class teaches students how to code through two different formats. In the morning students will build and code LEGO robots to help solve problems, such as carrying heavy weights, and how certain variables affect speed. The afternoon is spent on the program Scratch, where your children learn how to build games and get creative with design.

Objectives

  • Learn how to build programmable robots using LEGO WeDo Robot kits

  • Learn to work effectively in teams to produce functional autonomous robots 

  • Learn the basics of block coding 

  • Create multiple interactive games
