Description
In this class we will incorporate design thinking with Raspberry Pi computers to design, create, and build projects. Options include designing and building a Stevensville Scarecrow Festival entry or a confetti machine. Or something entirely new!
Students will learn the Stanford d school design thinking model. How to wire up electronic components and run python code using a Raspberry Pi computer. Students will also learn the basics about cybersecurity on the internet.
Objectives
Learn to run and use a Raspberry Pi computer
Learn to wire up electronic components
Learn basics of editing and running Python programs
Make use of design thinking to come up with projects to create
Use found materials, additional components, and a Raspberry Pi to build projects
Work on small teams
