Description

In this class, students will learn the basics of computer art and digital photography through self-expression and exploration. For the main activity of the class, students will create a series of autobiographical art pieces and photographs. We will make digital and traditional portraits, landscapes and drawings to present a picture of your world in a final presentation. 

Objectives

  • Create and present digital art in slideshow 

  • Demonstrate understanding of proportion, symmetry, and balance

  • Use different types of objects (animation, shapes, images, textbox) in digital media

  • Practice public speaking skills    

  • Learn about digital citizenship
