Description
Do you enjoy building with LEGOS? Ever dream of building and programming a robot? Do you wonder how robots could be used in real world situations? If you answered yes to these questions, this class is for you! In this continuation from Robots to the Rescue 1, students will gain real-world problem-solving experience and learn programming skills through completing rescue missions using a LEGO WeDo robot. Students can take this class over and over…it is always fun! No prerequisite required.
Objectives
Learn how to build programmable robots using Lego WeDo Robot kits.
Learn to work effectively in teams to produce functional autonomous robots to solve missions on a game board.
Use strategy to pick missions for the robot to complete given a time limit.
