Class Policy for Students and Parents

  1. Scholarships are granted for one student for one class.

  2. Students will be respectful of teachers and equipment. They will be expected to follow class rules and directions, clean up after themselves, and handle all tools and materials as directed by their instructors.

  3. Coding for Kids will be following Stevensville Schools COVID-19 protocols. We will send out updated information if there is a change in protocol due to decreased or increased COVID-19 rates and activity.

  4. Students must be healthy to come to class. Students will not be permitted to come to class if they have two or more COVID-19 type symptoms, if they have a fever of 100 degrees F or higher, or if they have vomited in the past 24 hours.

  5. Guardians must be available to come pick up their student if they become ill during class.

  6. Students will form work pods/partnerships when appropriate and maintain them for the duration of the class.

  7. Students should come to class prepared to learn and ready to have fun.

  8. Please pick up your child no more than 10 minutes after the end of class. If you will be later than that, you must contact Coding for Kids.

  9. Please be on time.

  10. You must let Coding for Kids know if your student will be picked up by someone other than their guardian at the end of class. This includes students that may walk or drive themselves home at the end of class.
