Description
In this class, students will create an interactive digital comic. To prepare students will discuss different media available (words, visuals, audio, animation, etc.), some of the history of comics and illustrated storytelling, and work on crafting a short story from start to finish. They will then bring our stories to life in digital format. Additionally, they will look at different types of comics from different places, choices in text and color, and how different media can bring stories to life.
Objectives
Students will create multimedia stories in a digital format.
Students will explore story structure and narrative.
Students will design a product that is intended for publishing.
